We are convinced that innovation is the engine of economic growth. We know that the generation and application of good ideas increase the performance of any productive activity. We did this more than 31 years ago with the development of the Jet Claw® pump, which introduced significant improvements in hydraulically pumped oil production. Since then, we have steadily invested in innovation activities as a long-term growth strategy.
The Research, Development and Innovation Department was created in 2014. This business unit is responsible for executing an applied research program and aims to develop new tools and services with high added value for the oil industry. With this SERTECPET® seeks to position itself as the regional technological leader.

Jet Claw Smart Pump
Hydraulic pumping apparatus for oil recovery, obtaining and recording information from the bottom of the reservoir and recovery thereof to surface, characterized in that it comprises an assembly of a jet pump, a bottom shut-off valve and a sensor holder housing electronic sensors forming an integral mono-block assembly, which uses the hydraulic energy of a motive fluid (water or oil) that is injected into the well from the surface to generate in a single operation the lifting of fluids or the temporary closure of the same by injecting or suspending the motive fluid; in the first case the jet pump is actuated and the bottom shut-off valve is automatically opened; in the second case the suspension of injection stops the jet pump and automatically closes the bottom shut-off valve; hydraulic recovery of the apparatus to surface is generated in a separate operation by equalizing the reservoir pressure below the bottom shut-off valve and the hydrostatic pressure above the bottom shut-off valve.
Production Tubing Sealer
The invention relates to the development of a hydraulic device for hermetically sealing, in situ, holes, cracks or leaks of joints, produced in subway piping for the extraction of oil, gases or other fluids, and, especially, it relates to a device comprising an assembly of four sections, containing various fixing and anchoring means, and the method of moving the device to detect and locate the site of the leak and position it inside the production pipe of the fluid, so that it is fixed and hermetically seals the damaged section of the production pipe, thus allowing the recovery of the normal production flow.

An oil downhole fluid circulation liner, comprising a cylindrical tubular casing with a series of peripheral circulation windows that cross its wall radially, characterized in that it houses a set of sealing seals, held in a fixed position by a seal retention sleeve, the same that in its internal part has the safety housings and to accommodate the circumferential coupling claws; the seal retaining sleeve is held in place by the lower connector of the circulating jacket. The sliding sleeve on its lower part has the circumferential hooking claws that act as a padlock when they enter the safety housings.

The present invention relates to fluid circulation liners, used at the bottom of oil wells, applicable in conventional downhole completion systems in the oil industry. Specifically, it consists in the modification of the design of the liner in its opening form, which is made by the displacement of the sliding sleeve downwards and whose objective is to solve the problem that represents the accidental closing of the liner at the moment of the entrance of a jet pump in its interior.
Ejector
A specially designed surface jet pump-like ejector device, based on mathematical modeling studies for its nozzle and throat size and throat clearance settings, that uses water extracted from oil wells and separated at the surface as a motive fluid to relieve the wellhead or to transport oil fluids, with other extraction components, to treatment substations at relatively low cost and using clean energy, replacing positive displacement pumps.
Coupling Premium STP
The invention is related to an improved coupling for joining pipes of characteristics according to the API standard, for the extraction of crude oil from oil wells, whose improved characteristics, according to the new procedure, achieve a hermetic design of the coupling and, more specifically, related to the improvement of the threads in the joints by means of modern manufacturing systems of both the pipe terminals and the joint of the rounded threads, with computerized manufacturing systems and with the incorporation of an internally located shoulder in the coupling to achieve, first, the elimination of uncovered spaces that can cause turbulence within the coupling, and second, to create a metal-to-metal hermetic seal and additionally a flexible hydrogenated nitrile seal, located behind the shoulder, ensuring the hermetic nature of the joint.
MPLT Jet Pump
The present invention relates to a modified downhole jet pump assembly, which is coupled with a support assembly in which logging instruments are incorporated to be mobilized deep in the wellbore in the production zones to obtain data on well conditions such as pressure, temperature and flow values at different levels within the wellbore by conditioning the logging string from the surface through the wireline. Logging with this modified jet pump assembly is performed both when the well is producing and when it is static.
Jet Claw Pump
Hydraulic pump for the extraction of oil from the subsoil, by means of motive fluid. It presents in the fishing neck a larger section to facilitate the extraction of said pump, six orifices in said neck for the fluid inlet and a built-in filter. The throat body is structured in two coaxial pieces, the throat holder and the diffuser, eliminating the inner tube that would cover it, thus increasing the section of the annular space outside the former. The lower retainer is interchangeable with, for example, a pressure control valve. Finally, a single larger outlet of the discharge body is provided to reduce pressure losses.
