Corporate Social Responsibility Report 2025

At SERTECPET we conceive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as the axis that unites our business vision with our human commitment. It is not only about generating economic value, but also about positively transforming the environment where we operate, creating sustainable progress, education, equity and well-being.

During 2025, we strengthened our CSR programs in the five pillars that guide our management:

💜 Gender Equality: we accompanied more than 100 women and their families with emotional and psychological support, boosting their economic autonomy and offering workshops for the prevention of violence.

🏡 S ustainable Communities: we have impacted more than 60 communities, promoting entrepreneurship, cultural preservation and the internationalization of ancestral products.

🎓 Quality Education: more than 15,000 children and 120 teachers were trained in rural areas in partnership with the Ministry of Education, strengthening digital and pedagogical skills.

⚖️ Reduction of Inequalities: we built infrastructure, medical brigades and the first digital playroom in the country, bringing real opportunities to vulnerable communities.

Climate change: we reforested more than 5 hectares in the Guangüilagua forest and promote the conservation of endemic species together with the Jardín al Lado Foundation.

This year we reached a profoundly significant achievement: our school next to the camp has changed its name to Unidad Educativa Intercultural "Carlos & Byron López Robayo", in honor of our beloved partners who departed too soon from this world. It is a great joy to be able to give back to the community gratitude and education in better conditions.

In the coming days we will have the honor of welcoming the First Lady, Lavinia Valbonesi, and the Minister of Education, Alegria Crespo, at the inauguration of the first digital playroom in an intercultural school in Ecuador - a milestone that symbolizes our commitment to the future and to hope.
